Future programs

ISRI aquaculture department prepared priorities were approved and included in the ISRI strategic plan relevant to conservation and sustainable use of Sturgeons.

• Determining the feeding requirements of Sturgeons in larval and fry stages.
• using new rearing techniques and bio technique of intensive rearing for Sturgeons in different water bodies.
• carrying out research projects to create pilot of farmed Caviar and meat production from Sturgeons.
